Expert Virtual Therapy Starts Here: Grounded Care with Dr. Kristyn Neckles.
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Dr. Kristyn Neckles, a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of
Resilience in Becoming
My path to this work is deeply personal. As an immigrant and someone who holds multiple marginalized identities, my work is led by a deep respect for the intersectionality of who we are.
I believe that variables such as gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic status, religion, and ability are not just "background noise"—they are the context of our lives. They play significant roles in our mental health and our relational issues. In this space, your culture and your lived experiences are valued and prioritized.
From Survival to Alignment:
Why I Believe We Are Always 'Becoming'
As someone who has navigated many of life’s challenges, both personally and professionally, I value the concept of resilience. But I don't mean the kind of resilience that feels like a "must-do" chore or a forced performance of strength.
Instead, I lean into the belief that we are all in a constant state of becoming. Life is not about perfection; it’s about growth, healing, and becoming more aligned with who we truly are. My goal is to support you on that journey—to help you get clear on who you want to be, how you want to show up in your relationships, and what truly matters to you.
The Collaborative Work: How We Navigate Your Journey Together
Dr. Kristyn Neckles, a licensed clinical psychologist
I believe that therapy is most effective when it is a true partnership
My role isn’t to "fix" you from a distance; it’s to guide and support you with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for your lived experience. Together, we move beyond just talking and into value-based action. To do this, I utilize a specialized set of clinical frameworks—proven roadmaps designed to help you navigate the complexities of life and relationships with clarity..
I provide online therapy tailored for those who are often the "strongest" people in the room.
-
Doctors, leaders, and caregivers who are used to performing and being the "fixer" for everyone else, but are quietly struggling with burnout, identity, or the weight of expectations.
-
Motivated partners who have drifted into the "roommate" stage and are ready to move past the logistics of life to rebuild a connection based on shared values.
-
Medical residents, graduate students, and high-performing young adults navigating the intense pressure of "making it" while trying to remain aligned with their true selves during seasons of massive transition.
Who the Practical Path is Designed For:
The Specialized Tools for Your Journey:
-

A research-based roadmap for dual-career couples. We move beyond the "roommate phase" by building practical skills for communication, intimacy, and shared meaning.
-
A specialized clinical tool to help you process the underlying blocks and "survival" patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of burnout or perfectionism.
To identify unhelpful thought patterns and address the deeper “why” behind emotional reactivity.
-

“COURAGE DOESN’T ALWAYS ROAR. SOMETIMES COURAGE IS THE QUIET VOICE AT THE END OF THE DAY SAYING ‘I WILL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW’.”

Healing isn’t about returning to who you were before; it’s about the resilience of becoming exactly who you are meant to be now. You’ve spent enough time being the "strong one" for everyone else. It’s time to have a space that is just for you—or your relationship.
If you are ready to identify the obstacles, stop "performing," and take value-based action toward the life you want, I am ready to navigate that journey with you.
